Progress: Pete, your hood is done. We'll get the cab out soon, after the weekend.
Ty's Gemini has almost all the parts gathered now Hood is showing good progress, head is done and being wired. We have the lighting here for just one more Gemini too.
My what a lot of different boxes roll out of here! The two-chambered Aries is done too.
In the Pipe: Inquiries are rolling in, Indigo, Gemini, maybe a big custom unit. Looks like the wait times are back up, maybe seven weeks now.
Ready to Roll: A two-chamber unit is available in BC only (too big to ship) There is also a used unit in Northern California for sale. Any bargain hunters out there? Email me for details.

I'm starting to really like the way this white stuff works. Nice unit, eh? BTW, the wires at the top have nothing to do with the cabinet, I'm just too cheap for cable and I have to run a wire to get any reception at all ! In the last pic, I left the protective coating on the heatshield. At least you can see it now. See how the power cluster stays well above splashes from the res, but doesn't take up flowering space? The fan-speed controller is conveniently located just inside the door as well. Same with the sample-wand, right at the door opening. I tell ya, it doesn't get any better than this!
Here' they are! Works as a kit too, so we might make more. At least its small enough to ship. |

Here's the deal; the left side has a quad fluoro on standard ballasts and nice quiet 50 for cooling. The right side has a single sidelit 150 HPS and a 70 cfm fan on a controller. The idea is for a strong veg chamber, but in a pinch you could flower a small crop. Needs a screen though. Pretty slick.unit eh? In the pic, we're sexing cuttings from a seedling Mom, and vegging another (unrelated) crop in a bubbler. The 2' box is just a tad too tight for a Powerpharm. :(
Take a look at the compound hoods:
L-R: Prop stick, fluor exhaust, timer/splitter/power assembly, fluoro ballasts; 70 box, HPS lamp, vented reflector, timer/power cluster, F40 ballast, fanspeed controller A panel sets into the hood so if you do flower in it, you don't disturb the darkness when you go in to mist your clones in the other chamber. Cool eh? |
